Ali Meiniger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Philipp in the 35th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Ludwigsvorstadt's Olaf Borgmann threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Issey Brahms, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 47 minutes, Peer Korbel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ludwigsvorstadt and the Echtrop players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Che Fiedler made a kick off. Olaf Borgmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Lüttges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Che Fiedler notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Echtrop's Olaf Borgmann. Olaf Borgmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, Echtrop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Wolsch to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Markus Lüttges notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Echtrop's Olaf Borgmann. Olaf Borgmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Che Fiedler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Che Fiedler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. FC Ludwigsvorstadt's Ali Meiniger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ludwigsvorstadt from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Philipp got free with Ali Meiniger in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olaf Borgmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Che Fiedler, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Che Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Borgmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Ludwigsvorstadt could leave the field as winners, despite Echtrop having more of the ball for most of the match.
