The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Xavier Knietzsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Owen Lederer got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Geisbruch's Owen Lederer got a free kick in the 27th minute. Romano Mannschatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Kuhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Michael Kopitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Keuenhof booed when Geisbruch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Schumm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keuenhof's Leon Franke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Keuenhof from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Keuenhof's Peter-Michael Kopitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Geisbruch's Xavier Knietzsch got a free kick in the 73rd minute. During the 78th minute of the match Xavier Knietzsch completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xavier Knietzsch a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Keuenhof booed when Geisbruch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Knietzsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geisbruch's Jan Kuhn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Geisbruch from getting a goal against them. Thorsten Schumm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Franke having to interfere. Leon Franke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Bartenbach in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Geisbruch lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
