Hölserheide FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Binder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Stenzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Binder, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gregor Binder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Carl Stenzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregor Binder in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Stenzer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Genau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Stenzer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregor Binder in the 35th minute of play forced FC Bierlager Reichehall's goalkeeper Carl Stenzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hölserheide FC booed when FC Bierlager Reichehall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enno Langolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enno Langolf to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Dilling couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Hölserheide FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Bierlager Reichehall throughout the match.
