Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) Kissenbrück FSV's Reimar Bohnacker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kai Kieper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Kissenbrück FSV's Till Ungewitter seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Till Ungewitter the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kissenbrück FSV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Till Ungewitter had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Kissenbrück FSV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hohenfeld:s goal. Linus Zick came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Hohenfeld's Lars Schaf. But to his dismay, Lars Schaf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Kai Kieper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hohenfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Kieper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Hohenfeld's Linus Zick threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kai Kieper, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Hohenfeld booed when Kissenbrück FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Lehrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Reimar Bohnacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herwig Heckrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kissenbrück FSV booed when Hohenfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorg Doual didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reimar Bohnacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hohenfeld's Kai Kieper slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Linus Zick. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Kai Kieper made the kick off in the second half. Reimar Bohnacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Herwig Heckrath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herwig Heckrath was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastian Engelhardt. If Reimar Bohnacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Rocco Steppuhn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hohenfeld and the Kissenbrück FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Linus Zick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hohenfeld. Hohenfeld's Kai Kieper got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herwig Heckrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reimar Bohnacker in the 84th minute of play. If Lars Schaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hohenfeld booed when Kissenbrück FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arminius Benario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Zick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Kieper in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97thth minute of the game Kai Kieper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kissenbrück FSV's Linus Zick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hohenfeld fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kissenbrück FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
