Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Helge Jerat kicked off to start the match. Markus Schmeissner struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Achim Lautenbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goldschau FSV. 28 minutes into the match, Bernd Nabor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Achim Lautenbach. Spriestersbach FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernd Nabor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Helge Jerat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Achim Lautenbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bernd Nabor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldschau FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernd Nabor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achim Lautenbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Hubert Albrecht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spriestersbach FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goldschau FSV the free kick. The supporters of Goldschau FSV booed when Spriestersbach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Albrecht didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Helge Jerat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xabi Wacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Hertel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Josef Kirchner charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Kirchner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Josef Kirchner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Laurenz Hertel made the kick off in the second half. Helmut Ascher charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helmut Ascher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 52 minutes into the match, Goldschau FSV's goalkeeper Xabi Wacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralph Scheiba. Bernd Nabor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achim Lautenbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd Nabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Goldschau FSV's Bernd Nabor got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralph Scheiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabi Wacker having to interfere. In the 75th minute Helge Jerat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achim Lautenbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Helge Jerat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Goldschau FSV's Bernd Nabor got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helge Jerat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achim Lautenbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Helge Jerat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achim Lautenbach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Goldschau FSV's goalkeeper Xabi Wacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralph Scheiba. Thanks to some nice moves Ralph Scheiba could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Xabi Wacker however easily saved by the left post. 94 minutes into the game, Jan Artmaier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spriestersbach FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goldschau FSV the free kick. After 95 played minutes Spriestersbach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Jan Artmaier. Bernd Nabor took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achim Lautenbach. Achim Lautenbach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Goldschau FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
