Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heiko Männer got the match started through his kick off. Frank-Ulrich Berner scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Tremmel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 played minutes FSV Leinetal got a freekick which was hit by Berko Seibel. Bernd Groh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Männer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Tremmel came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Tielge's Frank-Ulrich Berner. But to his dismay, Frank-Ulrich Berner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Abdel Protzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiko Männer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Groh having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Frank-Ulrich Berner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tielge's Mario Butenschön in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FSV Leinetal's goalie prevented a goal. Roman Zierer charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Zierer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tielge booed when FSV Leinetal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Zierer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FSV Leinetal's goalie and right to Heiko Konieczny. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FSV Leinetal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Butenschön stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Tielge fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Tielge's Frank-Ulrich Berner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lothar Nazaradeh kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Frank-Ulrich Berner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mario Butenschön received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Georg Tremmel came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Butenschön slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FSV Leinetal's zone, Frank-Ulrich Berner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Tremmel came out of the goal and Frank-Ulrich Berner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Heiko Männer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Groh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Berko Seibel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Leinetal and the Tielge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tielge's Frank-Ulrich Berner got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, FSV Leinetal's goalkeeper Georg Tremmel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank-Ulrich Berner. A hard shot 86 in the game by Frank-Ulrich Berner from a close distance when the talented Georg Tremmel managed to make a qualified save. FSV Leinetal's players were relieved. Mario Butenschön received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Georg Tremmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Tremmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Butenschön, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Wojtek von Fallersleben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tielge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
