After having played for 5 minutes, Hartmut Sawade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockum FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hartmut Sawade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Zentgraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jurij Kraus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Stingl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartmut Sawade in the 13th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Sierk Kofler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rudmersbach FC's Oskar Stingl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartmut Sawade in the 18th minute of play forced Rudmersbach FC's goalkeeper Oskar Stingl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sierk Kofler scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Stingl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hartmut Sawade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oskar Stingl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Hartmut Sawade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Stingl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Engelbert Thommes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match Reinhold Schneider sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oskar Stingl skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute Pitt Jacobs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurij Kraus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Hartmut Sawade made a precise shot to the right of Oskar Stingl. Rudmersbach FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hartmut Sawade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Stingl having to interfere. After the first half Stockum FSV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hartmut Sawade made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rudmersbach FC booed when Stockum FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hartmut Sawade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pitt Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jurij Kraus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pitt Jacobs struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jurij Kraus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rudmersbach FC. The supporters of Stockum FSV booed when Rudmersbach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Brink didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes, Stockum FSV's Reinhold Schneider shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oskar Stingl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stockum FSV reached it. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Hartmut Sawade took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Oskar Stingl to make any attempt to save it. Pitt Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jurij Kraus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Stockum FSV getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eros Hinrichsen hit a great ball. Emil Zentgraf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Stockum FSV's zone, Emil Zentgraf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurij Kraus came out of the goal and Emil Zentgraf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stockum FSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
