The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Drögennindorf's goal looked a bit too open when Malik Platen came free, but Edmund Algren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Malik Platen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Drögennindorf's Edmund Algren. Edmund Algren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th match minute, Staatsforsten FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinrich Labsch to maneuver through the defense. Herwig Bohn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 高翔瑜 went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Herwig Bohn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 高翔瑜's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When Drögennindorf's 高翔瑜 in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Hjalmar Beushausen fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staatsforsten FSV's protests and gave Hjalmar Beushausen a yellow card for diving instead. Herwig Bohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Erdmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Drögennindorf's Steffen Erdmann in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 57th minute Steffen von Bonin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Algren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Steffen Erdmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staatsforsten FSV's Herwig Bohn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steffen Erdmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herwig Bohn having to interfere. Edmund Algren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malik Platen in the 70th minute of the match. If Steffen Erdmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Beushausen in the 78th minute of play forced Drögennindorf's goalkeeper Edmund Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Algren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malik Platen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malik Platen in the 85th minute of play forced Drögennindorf's goalkeeper Edmund Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malik Platen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Staatsforsten FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Drögennindorf were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
