Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) When Artur Ibrügger came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Scherndorf FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Ibrügger couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute Gernot Berntsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Schmidhuber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5th play minutes Gernot Berntsen shot 0-1, a short shot which went by David Schmidhuber and just under the crossbar into goal. If Rudolf Bonin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Schmidhuber came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Scherndorf FSV's Gernot Berntsen. But to his dismay, Gernot Berntsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Gernot Berntsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Artur Ibrügger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scherndorf FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Ibrügger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Schmidhuber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Schmidhuber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernot Berntsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gernot Berntsen put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of David Schmidhuber. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernot Berntsen in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Schmidhuber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Antonio Zapf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Schmidhuber. Attenmoos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Zapf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 33 minutes, Gernot Berntsen made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Attenmoos FC's David Schmidhuber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gernot Berntsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. David Schmidhuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Gernot Berntsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scherndorf FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Artur Ibrügger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Schmidhuber having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gernot Berntsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Schmidhuber was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Scherndorf FSV were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gernot Berntsen took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for David Schmidhuber to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute, Artur Ibrügger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perez Hammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Bonin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Kasik having to interfere. Christian Bullinger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Schmidhuber having to make a save. David Schmidhuber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Zapf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scherndorf FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Georg Zimmer in the 91st minute. Georg Zimmer made a great header on Scherndorf FSV's corner, it was just that Attenmoos FC's David Schmidhuber managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Bullinger in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Schmidhuber saved Attenmoos FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Christian Bullinger sped through Attenmoos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Schmidhuber. Scherndorf FSV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
