Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Dettmann started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pützstück FSV's zone, Vladimir Grytz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Wiedemeyer came out of the goal and Vladimir Grytz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Michael Dettmann got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Michael Dettmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pützstück FSV booed when Ahlen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Wazansky didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Dettmann in the 17th minute of play forced Ahlen's goalkeeper Michael Hitzler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Pützstück FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Gref to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Silas Heinzel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armin Wiedemeyer skillfully saved the ball. Claus Rudolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Christian Huppertz from a close distance when the talented Michael Hitzler managed to make a qualified save. Ahlen's players were relieved. Alonso Noffz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Armin Wiedemeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Grytz in the 35th minute of play forced Pützstück FSV's goalkeeper Armin Wiedemeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Michael Dettmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Huppertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Hitzler having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonso Noffz made a kick off. When Alonso Noffz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ahlen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Noffz couldn't finish the play. Michael Dettmann struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Michael Hitzler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pützstück FSV. 67 minutes into the match, Ahlen's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Huppertz came free, but Michael Hitzler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Dettmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonso Noffz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Armin Wiedemeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonso Noffz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Wiedemeyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Pützstück FSV's Thierry Tammen got a free kick in the 91st minute. Vladimir Grytz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Armin Wiedemeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ahlen players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pützstück FSV from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
