Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reimund Blome kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dion Birke got free with Falk Kress in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7thth minute of the game Gottlieb Mouratidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giershausen FSV's Reinhold Hannemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Giershausen FSV's Falk Kress threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reimund Blome, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Falk Kress made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dion Birke in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Reimund Blome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giershausen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reimund Blome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Reimund Blome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falk Kress saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Sierße FSV got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Jonas. Dion Birke took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falk Kress. Falk Kress dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sierße FSV's Gottlieb Mouratidis got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Giershausen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Jung to maneuver through the defense. Reinhold Hannemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottlieb Mouratidis in the 30th minute of play. Folke Petsch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reinhold Hannemann. Giershausen FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dion Birke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Falk Kress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Giershausen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Gottlieb Mouratidis came free, but Reinhold Hannemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Reimund Blome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Falk Kress made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reimund Blome in the 57th minute of play. Reimund Blome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Falk Kress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Reimund Blome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giershausen FSV and the Sierße FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Giershausen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Reimund Blome. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alf Knoop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sierße FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Knoop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinhold Hannemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Reimund Blome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falk Kress saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemens Elser kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sierße FSV defense, Jonah Scholze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falk Kress. The Sierße FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falk Kress should have stopped the shot. Ted Grassow's late challenge caught a Giershausen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ted Grassow helped the player get up and apologised. 3-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Dion Birke elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Reimund Blome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giershausen FSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
