Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfred Heilemann took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Leistadt FSV's Alfred Heilemann got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Helmut Köppe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Heilemann in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthias Böwering saved Köln from getting behind. When Helmut Köppe came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Leistadt FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helmut Köppe couldn't finish the play. Valerius Wiedenroth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matthias Böwering. Köln's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Torsten Pöttgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Isele having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Leistadt FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Fellhauer to maneuver through the defense. Jens Kahsner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Isele having to interfere. Alfred Heilemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Matthias Böwering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Köln's Torsten Pöttgen got a free kick in the 44th minute. Valerius Wiedenroth, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jens Kahsner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Piet Conrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens Kahsner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Jens Kahsner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köln fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 87 minutes, Jens Kahsner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Kahsner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Torsten Pöttgen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leistadt FSV's Sascha Isele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Irvin Skudelny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sascha Isele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matthias Böwering made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Helmut Köppe sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Jens Kahsner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sascha Isele. Leistadt FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens Kahsner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
