Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heiko Spiller kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute of the match Erkan Clason shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ken Nemitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Eckhardt Dulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Villaelrriego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Heiko Spiller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ken Nemitz was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Osvaldo Villaelrriego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rico Lunau in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bayer04's Heiko Spiller dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Die Königsblauen's zone, Bonifatius Wissmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ken Nemitz came out of the goal and Bonifatius Wissmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heiko Spiller let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 26th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Frerk Miethe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Frederik Töpfer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Villaelrriego. Bayer04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederik Töpfer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Mathieu Schachtschober came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Bayer04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieu Schachtschober couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Heiko Spiller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Nemitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederik Töpfer took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Villaelrriego. Osvaldo Villaelrriego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Lukas Breilmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rico Lunau to make the kick off. Bayer04's Alexander Dettmar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Torben Kala, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Alexander Dettmar scored 3-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ken Nemitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Bonifatius Wissmann put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ken Nemitz. Mathieu Schachtschober kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Mathieu Schachtschober hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifatius Wissmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heiko Spiller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Heiko Spiller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ken Nemitz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Osvaldo Villaelrriego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Töpfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes of play, Bayer04's Heiko Spiller made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ken Nemitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 played minutes Bayer04 got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Füngerlings. Osvaldo Villaelrriego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rico Lunau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bayer04 fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Bayer04's Heiko Spiller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Die Königsblauen's Ken Nemitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifatius Wissmann in the 87th minute of play. Torben Kala made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bayer04's Benjamin Füngerlings. Benjamin Füngerlings hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Torben Kala in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bayer04's Benjamin Füngerlings. Die Königsblauen's Ken Nemitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Spiller in the 94th minute of play.
