Börje Kißling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torben Lüdtke in the 3rd minute of the match. Eckhard Quack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Kißling having to interfere. Ricardo Borgelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthasar Kallies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torben Lüdtke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Börje Kißling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Brilon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arben Tutschek to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quentin Gauweiler in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Borgelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Balthasar Kallies's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Borgelt was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Börje Kißling made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Eckhard Quack sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Borgelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Gauweiler in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Brilon FC's zone, Balthasar Kallies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Borgelt came out of the goal and Balthasar Kallies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torben Lüdtke got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Börje Kißling handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torben Lüdtke in the 37th minute of play forced Hertmann's goalkeeper Börje Kißling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hertmann's Börje Kißling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torben Lüdtke in the 45th minute of play. Eckhard Quack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Börje Kißling made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The Brilon FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Brilon FC's Eckhard Quack looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eckhard Quack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Börje Kißling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rainer Grehn fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brilon FC's protests and gave Rainer Grehn a yellow card for diving instead. If Eckhard Quack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torben Lüdtke in the 64th minute of play forced Hertmann's goalkeeper Börje Kißling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eckhard Quack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Börje Kißling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torben Lüdtke in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Kißling saved Hertmann from getting behind. A collision led to Hertmann getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Arnold Koslowski hit a great ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Torben Lüdtke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertmann's Börje Kißling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Börje Kißling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckhard Quack, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Hertmann's goal looked a bit too open when Torben Lüdtke came free, but Börje Kißling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torben Lüdtke struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Börje Kißling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brilon FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eckhard Quack in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Kißling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eckhard Quack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eckhard Quack scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börje Kißling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brilon FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
