Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Endrik Ganther started the match with the kick off. Benni Stegelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Vehma in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Ascheberg FSV's goalkeeper Benni Stegelmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Detlef Herrenkind. If Endrik Ganther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benni Stegelmann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 22 played minutes Mingerode FC got a freekick which was hit by Detlef Herrenkind. After having played for 23 minutes, Felix Sanke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascheberg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Sanke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Endrik Ganther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Sanke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoph Hädicke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endrik Ganther in the 29th minute of play forced Mingerode FC's goalkeeper Christoph Hädicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ascheberg FSV's Sergej Toncar got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mingerode FC's Christoph Hädicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Sanke in the 38th minute of play. Orson Kader kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Ascheberg FSV booed when Mingerode FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Nomayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes Mingerode FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albert Voßhoff who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Boris Bontz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julius Vehma made the kick off in the second half. If Detlef Herrenkind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mingerode FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Endrik Ganther 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Mingerode FC booed when Ascheberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Rohde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes, Mingerode FC's Raoul Immermann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benni Stegelmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mingerode FC reached it. Endrik Ganther's late challenge caught a Mingerode FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Endrik Ganther helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Ascheberg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endrik Ganther to maneuver through the defense. When Mingerode FC's Julius Vehma in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ascheberg FSV's goalie prevented a goal. Christoph Hädicke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Ganther in the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Endrik Ganther took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Christoph Hädicke to make any attempt to save it. Benni Stegelmann came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Mingerode FC's Detlef Herrenkind. But to his dismay, Detlef Herrenkind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Detlef Herrenkind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ascheberg FSV were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mingerode FC to leave the ground with a draw.
