The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Alm FC booed when TSV Delliehausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Nikolai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hernan Lehmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Lehmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabor Hartmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Balthasar Hahn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Nikolai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Alm FC's goalkeeper Arko Kandelhard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilhelm Hennicke. Arko Kandelhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubbo Rieden in the 31st minute of play. If Helmold Schindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alm FC's Arko Kandelhard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Alm FC from getting a goal against them. Arko Kandelhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubbo Rieden, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 46 played minutes Alm FC got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Sauer. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubbo Rieden to make the kick off. Raik Makel's late challenge caught a TSV Delliehausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raik Makel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when Alm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raik Makel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Lehmer struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gabor Hartmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alm FC. After having played for 56 minutes, Helmold Schindler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helmold Schindler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Helmold Schindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Hernan Lehmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helmold Schindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the game, one of Alm FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubbo Rieden in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arko Kandelhard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alm FC's Arko Kandelhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubbo Rieden in the 81st minute of play. Fritz Meves hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ubbo Rieden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TSV Delliehausen's Ubbo Rieden got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th match minute, Alm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Sauer to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TSV Delliehausen had won after a very even match.
