The supporters of Däfern FSV booed when FC Chaos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Gagelmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Däfern FSV got a freekick which was hit by Richard Hauser. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaclav Schadenfroh in the 39th minute of play forced Däfern FSV's goalkeeper Niko Finnern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vaclav Schadenfroh came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Chaos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaclav Schadenfroh couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Günter Backhaus during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Chaos getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Günter Backhaus hit a great ball. Däfern FSV's Richard Hauser couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Chaos. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Roger Göhner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Däfern FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Göhner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eiko Starke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, FC Chaos's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Parpart came free, but Eiko Starke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Däfern FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Göhner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eiko Starke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gretel Hilkes in the 55th minute of play forced Däfern FSV's goalkeeper Niko Finnern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Däfern FSV's Niko Finnern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gretel Hilkes in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, FC Chaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Gagelmann to maneuver through the defense. Charles Parpart kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Chaos's keeper Eiko Starke was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 73 minutes into the match, Däfern FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Gretel Hilkes came free, but Niko Finnern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niko Finnern showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gretel Hilkes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Vaclav Schadenfroh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Chaos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Däfern FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Vaclav Schadenfroh came free, but Niko Finnern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Sonneborn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niko Finnern.
