Rico Ehrgott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Hieronymus Blass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Sänger to make the kick off. Stephan Sänger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Matthäus Faber made a huge save. Matthäus Faber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronymus Blass in the 79th minute of the match. SG Arnstadt's Matthäus Faber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronymus Blass in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Hieronymus Blass got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
