The FC München-Sendling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitris Koutsis to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Eglsee's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Koutsis came free, but Marcel Grein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Eugenios Vonortas could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Marcel Grein however easily saved by the left post. 69 minutes into the game, Michael von Bonin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Klaas Rihm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Dimitris Koutsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Grein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC München-Sendling's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
