Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horst Ovekamp got the match started through his kick off. When Lysander Buchwalder came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Eglsee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lysander Buchwalder couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes, Tobias Pötters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern United and the Eglsee players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Christian Holzapfel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Christian Holzapfel came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Eglsee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Holzapfel couldn't finish the play. Lysander Buchwalder spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bayern United's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Ovekamp in the 19th minute of play forced Eglsee's goalkeeper Marcel Grein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Friedl Georgion took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Grein. Marcel Grein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lysander Buchwalder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dierk Droste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Christian Holzapfel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eglsee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Holzapfel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lysander Buchwalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dierk Droste having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Christian Holzapfel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dierk Droste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Holzapfel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Bayern United's Freddy Valet got a free kick in the 68th minute. Lysander Buchwalder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dierk Droste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Holzapfel in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bayern United's Freddy Valet got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Lysander Buchwalder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dierk Droste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bayern United getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Reno Neukirch hit a great ball. 77 minutes in the game, Lysander Buchwalder dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dierk Droste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Holzapfel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Röwekamp took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dierk Droste. Dierk Droste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Christian Holzapfel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dierk Droste having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Michael von Bonin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eglsee fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lysander Buchwalder in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dierk Droste saved Bayern United from getting behind. Dierk Droste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Holzapfel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
