Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jason Buschmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jason Buschmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Janing having to interfere. Silvio Menge made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Plodda's Sydney Szende. Kosmas Vuchelich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Reichwein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Szende in the 19th minute of the match. Oliver Reichwein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kosmas Vuchelich in the 23rd minute of play. Cord Pusch's late challenge caught a Rhen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cord Pusch helped the player get up and apologised. Sydney Szende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kosmas Vuchelich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oliver Reichwein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dariusz Grentz came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rhen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dariusz Grentz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Plodda's Sydney Szende got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Kosmas Vuchelich made the kick off in the second half. Dariusz Grentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Jason Buschmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrew Janing was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Silvio Menge made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jason Buschmann immediately put the ball in play.
