Niklaus Bommer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckhard Willsch having to interfere. Niklaus Bommer scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eckhard Willsch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 minutes, Kasimir Schertz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorthum FC and the Hanburg Spaß Verein players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hanburg Spaß Verein booed when Sorthum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasimir Schertz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sorthum FC's Niklaus Bommer in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eckhard Willsch guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eckhard Willsch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklaus Bommer's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Carlo Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thies Scheytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hanburg Spaß Verein's Eckhard Willsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklaus Bommer in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattias Tenhagen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niklaus Bommer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eckhard Willsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklaus Bommer, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Hanburg Spaß Verein's Torben Elser got a free kick in the 58th minute. Eckhard Willsch made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Carlo Vogel sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Carlo Vogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesko Löbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Eckhard Willsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorthum FC's Niklaus Bommer got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Vogel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eckhard Willsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorthum FC. Niklaus Bommer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Hanburg Spaß Verein's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kort Schaffert fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aage Roder charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aage Roder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joachim Behling shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 87 minutes into the game, Sorthum FC's Carlo Vogel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eckhard Willsch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 93rd minute, Niklaus Bommer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eckhard Willsch. The goal made the score 0-3. Carlo Vogel kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Niklaus Bommer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Eckhard Willsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
