Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Kalkbrenner got the match started through his kick off. Mauro Raps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ringo Neuner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerpen Süd's Hansjörg Enkelmann got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Langengrund's zone, Dietmar Posinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ringo Neuner came out of the goal and Dietmar Posinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dietmar Posinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hansjörg Enkelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Herwig Bayer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langengrund's supporters rose to their feet, but Herwig Bayer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 46th minute Hansjörg Enkelmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ringo Neuner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Ferdinand Buer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herwig Bayer in the 70th minute of the match. When Kerpen Süd's Hansjörg Enkelmann in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Langengrund's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hansjörg Enkelmann in the 74th managed to get into a good position. In the 83rd minute, Kerpen Süd's Sven Terstege dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Kalkbrenner in the 95th minute of play forced Kerpen Süd's goalkeeper Ferdinand Buer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Langengrund's Ringo Neuner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hansjörg Enkelmann in the 96th minute of play.
