After a rather tough play, FC Wolfenbüttel's Georg Kaster got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Ingo Appolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germania Mauritz Sv's Tom Schnurrer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl Krölls made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Wolfenbüttel's Tobias Efe. FC Wolfenbüttel's Ingo Appolt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ingo Appolt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wolfenbüttel's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingo Appolt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Schnurrer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germania Mauritz Sv's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Norberto Loose scored to the left of an out of position Tom Schnurrer, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, FC Wolfenbüttel's Norberto Loose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Schnurrer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Abel Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ion Iosif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Wirtgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germania Mauritz Sv's goalkeeper Tom Schnurrer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tom Schnurrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingo Appolt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Schnurrer having to make a save. If Norberto Loose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wolfenbüttel's Ingo Appolt got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingo Appolt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Abel Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Schnurrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Abel Abeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wolfenbüttel's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Abeitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Kaster scored 5-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Schnurrer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Germania Mauritz Sv's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Loose came free, but Tom Schnurrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germania Mauritz Sv's zone, Ingo Appolt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Schnurrer came out of the goal and Ingo Appolt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Schnurrer having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Wolfenbüttel had played much better football throughout.
