An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Anton Masuch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the game, Wilfried Minder lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Wieland Willmann. The supporters of Fadilinhos Gauchos booed when Post Germania Bautzen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Trox made a kick off.
