Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rupert Schertz got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rehden FC's zone, Michael Bruske stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Bunge came out of the goal and Michael Bruske tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Pomper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Wirkner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Ricardo Wirkner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Pomper in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Schertz in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Wirkner saved Edemissen from getting behind. Edemissen's Ricardo Wirkner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Schertz in the 15th minute of play. Ricardo Wirkner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Pomper in the 18th minute of the match. Henrik Pomper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Wirkner having to interfere. Herwig Popoola charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herwig Popoola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herwig Popoola hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ricardo Wirkner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rupert Schertz's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Rupert Schertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Wirkner having to interfere. Rehden FC's Henrik Pomper got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Rehden FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Relf Brochtrop hit a great ball. Egon Huber charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Huber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Edemissen got a freekick which was hit by Egon Huber. Rupert Schertz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ricardo Wirkner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rehden FC. After 45 played minutes Edemissen got a freekick which was hit by Egon Huber. In the 47th minute, Henrik Pomper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Bruske stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Reinhold Stoletzky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Wirkner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Schertz in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Edemissen's Michael Bruske sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Bunge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Edemissen's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Schertz came free, but Ricardo Wirkner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Schertz in the 72nd minute of play forced Edemissen's goalkeeper Ricardo Wirkner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edemissen's Michael Bruske in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rehden FC's goalie prevented a goal. Michael Bruske sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Rupert Schertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Wirkner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edemissen were furious when Feddo Hensel was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 89th minute, one of Edemissen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edemissen. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Rehden FC's Immanuel von Zweidorf got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ricardo Wirkner. Edemissen's Mel Schnarr suffered a concussion after 96 minutes and had to leave the field. Rehden FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
