Stig Pless fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Uschok having to interfere. Hendrik Rohrbacher kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Radomil Dippel was a little too slow when Karsten Kemmerle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Hendrik Rohrbacher was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Hintermeilingen FSV booed when Krautenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Rohrbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Pless received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Henning Uschok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Krautenberg defense, Stig Pless kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Uschok. The Krautenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Uschok should have stopped the shot. If Stig Pless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Hintermeilingen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Immanuel Eisenbach. The audience was convinced that Stig Pless's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Uschok was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Felipe Breite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Radomil Dippel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henning Uschok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Pless in the 41st minute of play. Karsten Kemmerle hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Hintermeilingen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Martin Wehowsky. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Krautenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Breite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henk Mitsch hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Martin Wehowsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Stig Pless fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Stig Pless's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Uschok was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After having played for 75 minutes, Stig Pless managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hintermeilingen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Immanuel Eisenbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Uschok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karsten Kemmerle's late challenge caught a Hintermeilingen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten Kemmerle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Krautenberg getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Karsten Kemmerle hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Krautenberg's Felipe Breite got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Krautenberg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hintermeilingen FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
