Unterrothhof's Suavi Özhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tammo Bachmayr in the 3rd minute of play. Tammo Bachmayr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Suavi Özhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jonas Otters could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Suavi Özhan however easily saved by the left post. Suavi Özhan made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jonas Otters sent off a good shot on target. If Jonas Otters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Volkstedt FSV fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Volkstedt FSV's Jonas Otters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Otters got free with Suavi Özhan in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tammo Bachmayr in the 45th minute of play forced Unterrothhof's goalkeeper Suavi Özhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suavi Özhan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tammo Bachmayr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Westermayer made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Tammo Bachmayr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Jonas Otters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suavi Özhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suavi Özhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Otters in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Tammo Bachmayr made a precise shot to the right of Suavi Özhan. Unterrothhof's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Otters during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Volkstedt FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Otters to maneuver through the defense. Peter Schuhmacher made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Herbert Westermayer. Herbert Westermayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Volkstedt FSV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
