An unexpectedly hard shot by Arndt Rapp in the 16th minute of play forced Nettershöfe's goalkeeper Arne Grajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nettershöfe's Arne Grajewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Nettershöfe from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gideon Thomas during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Münchenroda FSV's Bastian Sass tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 1-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Uwe Schleuter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Münchenroda FSV's Arne Grajewski threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Uwe Schleuter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
