Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Melvin Hovermann got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, GALATASARAYardasamet's Heiner Sippel got control of the ball when Götz Bechmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAYardasamet's Marcus Brinkmann got a free kick in the 6th minute. Melvin Hovermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiner Sippel having to interfere. When Marcus Brinkmann fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAYardasamet's protests and gave Marcus Brinkmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes GALATASARAYardasamet got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Brinkmann. After 11 played minutes, GALATASARAYardasamet's Lars Merk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bolko Stapelfeldt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GALATASARAYardasamet reached it. Markus Engelmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Heiner Sippel made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, GALATASARAYardasamet's goalkeeper Heiner Sippel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Götz Bechmann. If Egon Garefrekes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Dommert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolko Stapelfeldt having to interfere. Melvin Hovermann scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiner Sippel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Egon Garefrekes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAYardasamet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Melvin Hovermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heiner Sippel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sonny Dommert managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAYardasamet's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Dommert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bolko Stapelfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melvin Hovermann in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiner Sippel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Egon Garefrekes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Bolko Stapelfeldt made a huge save. Egon Garefrekes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Götz Bechmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Götz Bechmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Heiner Sippel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, New German Kickers's Julius Heckens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heiner Sippel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Götz Bechmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Heiner Sippel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, New German Kickers's Melvin Hovermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heiner Sippel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Heiner Sippel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Götz Bechmann went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Götz Bechmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Heiner Sippel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Götz Bechmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Götz Bechmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Sippel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, GALATASARAYardasamet's goal looked a bit too open when Melvin Hovermann came free, but Heiner Sippel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Götz Bechmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
