Ruth Hartig came out of the goal and Jürgen Staubach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Ariel Lorien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stadlberg FC's Ruth Hartig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anthony Atan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

SSC Napoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Jürgen Staubach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Atan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ruth Hartig made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Anthony Atan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruth Hartig. Anthony Atan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Jürgen Staubach struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ruth Hartig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Napoli. In the 96th minute of the match, Ariel Lorien got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruth Hartig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded SSC Napoli left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stadlberg FC.
