The supporters of FC Cooop booed when Wustweiler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Boll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Freudenstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conni Nachtwei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of FC Cooop:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wustweiler:s goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Henrik Boll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cooop's Manuel Freudenstein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Freudenstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Cooop's Arnd Theißen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Henrik Boll received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Freudenstein came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Boll slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Boll in the 35th minute of play forced FC Cooop's goalkeeper Manuel Freudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Faul in the 44th minute of play forced Wustweiler's goalkeeper Jindrich Häberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

A sloppy throw-in by Adé Kauth in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Cooop's Gil Thiele. 54 minutes into the match, FC Cooop's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Boll came free, but Manuel Freudenstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Henrik Boll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Freudenstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedhold Galeazzi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Claus Logern made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adé Kauth immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the FC Cooop defense, Henrik Boll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Freudenstein. The FC Cooop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Freudenstein should have stopped the shot. Henrik Boll might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Freudenstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Boll ran back to his position shaking his head. After 72 played minutes Wustweiler got a freekick which was hit by Claus Logern. Jindrich Häberle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Faul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 74 minutes, Arnd Theißen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cooop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnd Theißen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Freudenstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gero Fischer in the 76th minute of play. Gero Fischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnd Theißen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Friedhold Galeazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
