Manfred Sommer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendix Krapols in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Klein Jerusalem's Niels Hammel got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Meiwa FC defense, Maximilian Nolden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörn Haak. The Meiwa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörn Haak should have stopped the shot. Joachim Roese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sommer having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Joachim Roese managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meiwa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Roese was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joachim Roese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Roese in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfred Sommer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Meiwa FC's goalkeeper Jörn Haak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Lusche. In the 45thth minute of the game Joachim Roese who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klein Jerusalem's Manfred Sommer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

After a defensive mix-up in Klein Jerusalem's zone, Joachim Roese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Sommer came out of the goal and Joachim Roese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bendix Krapols succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 58th playminute. When Albrecht Austen fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meiwa FC's protests and gave Albrecht Austen a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Meiwa FC got a freekick which was hit by Albrecht Austen. In the 69th match minute, Klein Jerusalem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godwin Große Verspohl to maneuver through the defense. If Bendix Krapols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meiwa FC's Joachim Roese got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfred Sommer made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Bendix Krapols sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Meiwa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Nolden came free, but Jörn Haak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Klein Jerusalem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Hammel to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Albrecht Austen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bendix Krapols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Sommer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Roese in the 90th minute of play. Roger Lusche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Meiwa FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Klein Jerusalem.
