Karlo Reiner came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by 1.CFR Pforzheim's Carsten Thomale. But to his dismay, Carsten Thomale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Amerigo Blacha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elard Köhn came out and tried to block the shot, but Amerigo Blacha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Hadrian Jungclas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plottendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hadrian Jungclas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Vieth in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elard Köhn saved 1.CFR Pforzheim from getting behind. Karlo Reiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Wagefeld in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match Ray Dreher sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karlo Reiner skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd minute, Raphael Feierabend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carsten Thomale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Karlo Reiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carsten Thomale scored 1-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karlo Reiner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Plottendorf's Karlo Reiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Wagefeld in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Raphael Feierabend got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Max Wagefeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carsten Thomale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Karlo Reiner made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Amerigo Blacha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plottendorf and the 1.CFR Pforzheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carsten Thomale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Max Wagefeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.CFR Pforzheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Wagefeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karlo Reiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Stefan Vieth came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Plottendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Vieth couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes in the game, Max Wagefeld fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karlo Reiner having to interfere. Carsten Thomale in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karlo Reiner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 74 minutes into the match, Plottendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Max Wagefeld came free, but Karlo Reiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carsten Thomale didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-5 via right post in the game's 75th minute. 1.CFR Pforzheim's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Max Wagefeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlo Reiner having to interfere. A collision led to 1.CFR Pforzheim getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ray Dreher hit a great ball. When Plottendorf's Stefan Vieth in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1.CFR Pforzheim's goalie prevented a goal. 1.CFR Pforzheim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
