After 10 played minutes, Elkeringhausen's Cicero Bolle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Axel Reinhold came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elkeringhausen reached it. When Gianluca Hörner fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elkeringhausen's protests and gave Gianluca Hörner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Gianluca Hörner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes in the game, Damir Vogt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leslie Szeder having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Peer Quack kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leslie Szeder. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Gianluca Hörner kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Elkeringhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Damir Vogt came free, but Leslie Szeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hans Diekämper came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Nienburger fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Diekämper couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, René Roßbach notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Nienburger fc's Axel Reinhold. Axel Reinhold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damir Vogt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damir Vogt in the 39th minute of play forced Elkeringhausen's goalkeeper Leslie Szeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hans Diekämper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nienburger fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Diekämper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leslie Szeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes Elkeringhausen got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Hegen. Klaas Bodensieck kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Axel Reinhold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Roßbach in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Nienburger fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matti Boskamp hit a great ball. Klaas Bodensieck kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Leslie Szeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damir Vogt, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Elkeringhausen's Leslie Szeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damir Vogt in the 65th minute of play. Hans Diekämper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leslie Szeder having to interfere. Elkeringhausen's Leslie Szeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damir Vogt in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Hans Diekämper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nienburger fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Diekämper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leslie Szeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damir Vogt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leslie Szeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Diekämper in the 83rd minute of the match. Gianluca Hörner hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hans Diekämper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Damir Vogt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leslie Szeder was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Leslie Szeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damir Vogt's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Nienburger fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
