After 22 minutes, Amerigo Blacha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plottendorf and the Reelpool TM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Reelpool TM booed when Plottendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Blacha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Vieth's late challenge caught a Reelpool TM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Vieth helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Reelpool TM booed when Plottendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hadrian Jungclas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bill Kersten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Plottendorf's Hadrian Jungclas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Kersten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Vieth to make the kick off. In the 80th match minute, Reelpool TM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Dullinger to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Plottendorf's Jules Heinrici tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Stefan Vieth came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Plottendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Vieth couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Plottendorf booed when Reelpool TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaudius Heinkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Vieth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bill Kersten having to make a save. In the 91st minute Stefan Vieth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Kersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plottendorf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
