The crowd rose to their feet as Heimito Seisler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arko Köllner. That made the score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. With 34 minutes on the clock, Helmut Orlowski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th minute, one of Saturdays For Beer:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saturdays For Beer. If Murat Kammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Saturdays For Beer's zone, Eduard Kühn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arko Köllner came out of the goal and Eduard Kühn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murat Kammer was the one to do the kick off. Murat Kammer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Arko Köllner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heimito Seisler in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Saturdays For Beer getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Heinz-Gerd Bonhoeffer hit a great ball. Eduard Kühn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heimito Seisler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arko Köllner having to interfere. Eduard Kühn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arko Köllner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heimito Seisler in the 63rd minute of play. Eduard Kühn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saturdays For Beer's zone, Herrmann Bolz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arko Köllner came out of the goal and Herrmann Bolz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murat Kammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhard Knoche having to interfere. If Eduard Kühn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Eduard Kühn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimelsheim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Kühn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arko Köllner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arko Köllner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heimito Seisler, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saturdays For Beer's zone, Eduard Kühn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arko Köllner came out of the goal and Eduard Kühn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Heimito Seisler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Kühn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arko Köllner having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Heimito Seisler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimelsheim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heimito Seisler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Saturdays For Beer's Nils Steckel got a free kick in the 94th minute. Grimelsheim FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
