After some careless play in the Saturdays For Beer defense, Heimito Seisler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arko Köllner. The Saturdays For Beer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arko Köllner should have stopped the shot. When Heimito Seisler came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Grimelsheim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heimito Seisler couldn't finish the play. If Eduard Kühn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Kühn in the 21st minute of play forced Saturdays For Beer's goalkeeper Arko Köllner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heimito Seisler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Arko Köllner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Kühn in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arko Köllner saved Saturdays For Beer from getting behind. Eduard Kühn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saturdays For Beer's zone, Heimito Seisler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arko Köllner came out of the goal and Heimito Seisler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes Saturdays For Beer got a freekick which was hit by Bum-Kun Ostmann. Arko Köllner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Kühn in the 41st minute of the match. The Saturdays For Beer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grimelsheim FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Kühn to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Saturdays For Beer's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Kühn came free, but Arko Köllner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Steckel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match.
