In the 7th minute FSV Lanzenhausen were awarded a corner. Rik Hettlich went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 19 minutes, Mathias Drewniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Lanzenhausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Drewniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Ekkehard Hannken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Drewniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Zischewski having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Götz Kleinhansl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klara Schimmelpfennig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to FSV Lanzenhausen getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ludolf Hippler hit a great ball. Mathias Drewniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekkehard Hannken kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Drewniak to make the kick off. Götz Kleinhansl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klara Schimmelpfennig having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Klaus Jauernig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathias Drewniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Zischewski having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Dammducht FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ekkehard Hannken. Amos Hofmeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Dammducht FSV's Götz Kleinhansl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klara Schimmelpfennig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Drewniak in the 68th minute of play forced Dammducht FSV's goalkeeper Kim Zischewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Dammducht FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekkehard Hannken to maneuver through the defense. Amos Hofmeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Zischewski having to interfere. Kim Zischewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias Drewniak's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Götz Kleinhansl in the 76th minute of play forced FSV Lanzenhausen's goalkeeper Klara Schimmelpfennig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Ralf Andres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Amos Hofmeister came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FSV Lanzenhausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Hofmeister couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Dammducht FSV's zone, Mathias Drewniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Zischewski came out of the goal and Mathias Drewniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Drewniak struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kim Zischewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSV Lanzenhausen. FSV Lanzenhausen were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Dammducht FSV to leave the ground with a draw.
