Franz Hormes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winfried Beyer in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfried Beyer in the 24th minute of play forced FC LAUENBURG's goalkeeper Franz Hormes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Friedrich Rückert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gloriious Bastards's Friedrich Rückert got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nenad Kapelle hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half Gloriious Bastards were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Winfried Beyer made a kick off. If Winfried Beyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC LAUENBURG's Franz Hormes got control of the ball when Friedrich Rückert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Winfried Beyer might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franz Hormes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Winfried Beyer ran back to his position shaking his head. Friedrich Rückert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Hormes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Winfried Beyer took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Franz Hormes to make any attempt to save it. Friedrich Rückert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Franz Hormes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibrahim Zweigler's late challenge caught a Gloriious Bastards's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ibrahim Zweigler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC LAUENBURG getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ibrahim Zweigler hit a great ball. Franz Hormes made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Friedrich Rückert sent off a good shot on target. Franz Hormes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winfried Beyer in the 81st minute of the match. Winfried Beyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Hormes having to interfere. Franz Hormes made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Friedrich Rückert sent off a good shot on target. Winfried Beyer struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Franz Hormes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloriious Bastards. Gloriious Bastards's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
