Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Giovanni Wacker made the kick off which started today's match. Spencers's Friedemann Kamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Bährchen in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Spencers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Hetz to maneuver through the defense. Auermühle's Eckard Tilk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Hetz in the 14th minute of play. Eckard Tilk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkhard Munz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Auermühle's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Wacker came free, but Eckard Tilk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Dennis Basset sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eckard Tilk skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Giovanni Wacker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eckard Tilk was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Wacker couldn't finish the play. After the first half Spencers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Bährchen was the one to do the kick off. Michael Bährchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedemann Kamp having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Milenko Mank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spencers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Auermühle the free kick. After 57 played minutes Spencers got a freekick which was hit by Milenko Mank. In the 58th minute of the match Bengt Utzig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Friedemann Kamp skillfully saved the ball. If Volkhard Munz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Grünschläger charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Grünschläger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Auermühle getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Anton Grünschläger hit a great ball. Josip Riehm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eckard Tilk. Auermühle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Spencers's Giovanni Wacker in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Auermühle's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
