Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arvid Köppe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Emanuel Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suttrop FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Basten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Friess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Suttrop FC's Emanuel Basten got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Arvid Köppe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornecka Fighters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvid Köppe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Ornecka Fighters:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suttrop FC:s goal. Sascha Lintner shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Witold Anton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Safet Burgmeier in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Suttrop FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Köppe came free, but Witold Anton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Basten succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ornecka Fighters's Knud Lemmerz got a free kick in the 27th minute. The attack was good, but when Safet Burgmeier in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Witold Anton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Safet Burgmeier's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Arvid Köppe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jörg Wessendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Friess having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Arvid Köppe notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Suttrop FC's Witold Anton. When Safet Burgmeier came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ornecka Fighters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Safet Burgmeier couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Thomas Coppi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Friess. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Köppe in the 54th minute of play forced Suttrop FC's goalkeeper Witold Anton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Ornecka Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Poll to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Witold Anton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Safet Burgmeier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witold Anton was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When Safet Burgmeier came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ornecka Fighters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Safet Burgmeier couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Jörg Wessendorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Friess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ornecka Fighters getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Safet Burgmeier hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Emanuel Basten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Friess was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 79th minute, Ornecka Fighters's Arvid Köppe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Safet Burgmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Jörg Wessendorf notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ornecka Fighters's Angel Friess. Angel Friess was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Safet Burgmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Suttrop FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ornecka Fighters had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
