In the 14thth minute of the game Johann Ebbenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kaisersesch's Zenobio Mielert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes in the game, Johann Ebbenga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zenobio Mielert having to interfere. Zenobio Mielert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Merker, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Johann Ebbenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zenobio Mielert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Kaisersesch's goalkeeper Zenobio Mielert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Merker. In the 26th match minute, Iserlohner Heide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Faßnacht to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Ebbenga in the 30th minute of play forced Kaisersesch's goalkeeper Zenobio Mielert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Franz Cochem sped through Iserlohner Heide FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joachim Brandborn. In the 39th minute, Johann Ebbenga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenobio Mielert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johann Ebbenga in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenobio Mielert saved Kaisersesch from getting behind. A hard shot 48 in the game by Fred Merker from a close distance when the talented Zenobio Mielert managed to make a qualified save. Kaisersesch's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johann Ebbenga was the one to do the kick off. Johann Ebbenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenobio Mielert having to interfere. When Nat Kantel fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaisersesch's protests and gave Nat Kantel a yellow card for diving instead. Nat Kantel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Johann Ebbenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Zenobio Mielert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Johann Ebbenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenobio Mielert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kaisersesch's zone, Fred Merker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenobio Mielert came out of the goal and Fred Merker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermann Felchle hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The long shot by Arthur von Stetten in the 81st minute really tested Joachim Brandborn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 87th minute Johann Ebbenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenobio Mielert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Merker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Martin Kalvelage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaisersesch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iserlohner Heide FC the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Kaisersesch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Rammes to maneuver through the defense. Iserlohner Heide FC's Fred Merker got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenobio Mielert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johann Ebbenga in the 96th minute of the match. Iserlohner Heide FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kaisersesch to leave the ground with a draw.
