Niklas Kala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Ünlü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niklas Kala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Ünlü in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Ulrich Blaumann put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Niklas Kala. 37 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Blaumann came free, but Niklas Kala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unterhaching's Norman Kreuz got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Norman Kreuz off the ground. In the 38th minute, Norman Kreuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes of play, Moin Mitnanne's Ulrich Blaumann made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moin Mitnanne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Swen Letsche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Unterhaching players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moin Mitnanne were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Ünlü was the one to do the kick off. Nikolaos Trumpf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Spike Böhmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Unterhaching's Niklas Kala got control of the ball when Ulrich Blaumann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Unterhaching's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dario Ünlü fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nikolaos Trumpf's late challenge caught a Moin Mitnanne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikolaos Trumpf helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Tommaso Jani in the 89th minute really tested Niklas Kala's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Moin Mitnanne's Dario Ünlü in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unterhaching's goalie prevented a goal. Moin Mitnanne's Spike Böhmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Theres in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Moin Mitnanne got a freekick which was hit by Swen Letsche. If Ulrich Blaumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Moin Mitnanne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Unterhaching.
