Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Schleusingen's Moritz Ani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pankraz Hermsdorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balko Deisler having to interfere. Ahelle's Hartwin Blieske got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balko Deisler was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Pankraz Hermsdorf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pankraz Hermsdorf really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Balko Deisler made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Hartwin Blieske sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hartwin Blieske got free with Balko Deisler in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Schleusingen's goalkeeper Balko Deisler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hartwin Blieske. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finn Canel in the 14th minute of play forced Schleusingen's goalkeeper Balko Deisler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pankraz Hermsdorf came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ahelle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankraz Hermsdorf couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Pankraz Hermsdorf notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Schleusingen's Balko Deisler. Balko Deisler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Balko Deisler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hartwin Blieske in the 21st minute. The supporters of Schleusingen booed when Ahelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Zecher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Dirk Rotheuler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schleusingen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, Ahelle's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Rotheuler came free, but Markus Knebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ahelle defense, Moritz Ani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Knebel. The Ahelle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Knebel should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Schleusingen's Balko Deisler got control of the ball when Pankraz Hermsdorf tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernando Stieglmeier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balko Deisler was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A hard shot 37 in the game by Hartwin Blieske from a close distance when the talented Balko Deisler managed to make a qualified save. Schleusingen's players were relieved. Iker Meiniger hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Pankraz Hermsdorfs short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Balko Deisler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute Hartwin Blieske shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balko Deisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hartwin Blieske blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balko Deisler having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hartwin Blieske stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balko Deisler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankraz Hermsdorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Balko Deisler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartwin Blieske in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Pankraz Hermsdorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balko Deisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahelle's Markus Knebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Ani in the 57th minute of play. Markus Knebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Wolf in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Pankraz Hermsdorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balko Deisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Schleusingen getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kasimir Balken hit a great ball. Pankraz Hermsdorf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Balko Deisler. Schleusingen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Schleusingen's goal looked a bit too open when Finn Canel came free, but Balko Deisler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balko Deisler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartwin Blieske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartwin Blieske recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finn Canel in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balko Deisler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Schleusingen's Balko Deisler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankraz Hermsdorf in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Hartwin Blieske made a precise shot to the right of Balko Deisler. Schleusingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 91st minute, Finn Canel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ahelle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 96th minute, Willy Wolf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Markus Knebel. The goal made the score 5-3. When the referee ended the match the Ahelle players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
