Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lars Metzner made the kick off and thus started the match. Stefan Rist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Joachim Mukengechay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC HARZ THALE's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedikt Bohne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Mukengechay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Stefan Rist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Mukengechay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 37 minutes into the game, Achmed Eroglu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC HARZ THALE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heelden FSV the free kick. In the 37th match minute, FC HARZ THALE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achmed Eroglu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Metzner in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kornel Moritz saved FC HARZ THALE from getting behind. Gus Osterholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kornel Moritz having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Stefan Rist in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

In the 54thth minute of the game Stefan Rist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heelden FSV's Joachim Mukengechay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gus Osterholt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heelden FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Osterholt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kornel Moritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC HARZ THALE booed when Heelden FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Piecyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC HARZ THALE's Matthias Kollmannsperger tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Benedikt Bohne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Stefan Rist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play FC HARZ THALE's Achmed Eroglu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 71st minute, Achmed Eroglu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Quincy Gehlhaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Mukengechay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Metzner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Heelden FSV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Quincy Gehlhaar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC HARZ THALE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
