The audience was convinced that Fabian Schwinn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Nass was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Ralf Bethge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkmar Siller in the 12th minute of the match. Groß Schneen FSV's Herbert Nass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timur Trautmann in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Schwinn in the 26th minute of play forced Groß Schneen FSV's goalkeeper Herbert Nass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Groß Schneen FSV booed when Hergatz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Trautmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Eike Däubler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Schwinn in the 36th minute of play forced Groß Schneen FSV's goalkeeper Herbert Nass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Timur Trautmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Nass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Groß Schneen FSV's zone, Fabian Schwinn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Nass came out of the goal and Fabian Schwinn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tjard Hupp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Reinhard Jackisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Groß Schneen FSV got a corner. Hergatz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Reder ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Groß Schneen FSV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hergatz FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timur Trautmann to make the kick off. When Hergatz FC's Timur Trautmann in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 71 minutes, Timur Trautmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hergatz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Trautmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Niels Pampuch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Groß Schneen FSV's Herbert Nass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timur Trautmann in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Groß Schneen FSV's Volkmar Siller made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Bethge was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Ovid Keller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Reder, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hergatz FC's Ralf Bethge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjard Hupp in the 90th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Rodolfo Reder put in a rough tackle. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Groß Schneen FSV! The Hergatz FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Groß Schneen FSV from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
