VFL Stade's Reimar Specht managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amos Olbers in the 20 minute of the game. Dollern FC's Imre Abendroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Kala in the 43rd minute of play. Imre Abendroth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco Kala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 86th minute, Reimar Specht made a precise shot to the right of Imre Abendroth. Dollern FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Akira Küpper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VFL Stade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 99th minute Traugott Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imre Abendroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VFL Stade fully deserved thier win.
