Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xavier Wohlgemuth got the match started through his kick off. SC Bärenkicker's Don Mauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Schwinn in the 16th minute of play. Ralf Bethge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Wohlgemuth in the 21st minute of the match. Don Mauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Trautmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Uwe Ahlgrimm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Hergatz FC's Fabian Schwinn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Don Mauer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Bärenkicker's Gunter Weischede suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Reinhard Jackisch's late challenge caught a SC Bärenkicker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinhard Jackisch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Reinhard Jackisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ehrhard Barthle scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Bethge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 38 minutes, Josip Stelze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don Mauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Trautmann in the 41st minute of the match. Xavier Wohlgemuth kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timur Trautmann made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bärenkicker's zone, Fabian Schwinn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Don Mauer came out of the goal and Fabian Schwinn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hergatz FC booed when SC Bärenkicker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Scheiler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hergatz FC's Kuno Liski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Don Mauer. That made the score 2-2 after 58 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Schwinn got free with Don Mauer in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Fabian Schwinn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Don Mauer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 71st minute Timur Trautmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Mauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, SC Bärenkicker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josip Stelze to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Bethge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Don Mauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Schwinn in the 87th minute. Xavier Wohlgemuth might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Bethge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavier Wohlgemuth ran back to his position shaking his head. Xavier Wohlgemuth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
