Hermann Stenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph Möst in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to 1.FC Union Berlin getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Willi Franz hit a great ball. Hermann Stenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Möst, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute, Willi Franz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Justin Myszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Stenger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Christoph Möst made a precise shot to the right of Hermann Stenger. 1.FC Union Berlin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lando Holl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Hofner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Myszka in the 24th minute of play forced 1.FC Union Berlin's goalkeeper Hermann Stenger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ennio Hofner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lando Holl in the 29th minute of the match. 1.FC Union Berlin's Hermann Stenger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Myszka in the 32nd minute of play. Lando Holl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Lando Holl fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 44 played minutes, Barneckermoor FC's Irvin Meyer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermann Stenger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barneckermoor FC reached it. Gretel Reule kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Myszka was the one to do the kick off. Christoph Möst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermann Stenger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Kaspar Grevenbrock kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Thomas Exner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Exner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ennio Hofner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoph Möst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Hermann Stenger made a huge save. Justin Myszka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Barneckermoor FC's Christoph Möst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermann Stenger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Christoph Möst sped through 1.FC Union Berlin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermann Stenger. If Lando Holl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaspar Grevenbrock got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Harold Harnack hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Lando Holl spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barneckermoor FC's goal. Barneckermoor FC's Christoph Möst got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harold Harnack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Hermann Stenger made a huge save. Barneckermoor FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
